LEIGH'S BIRTHDAY!

Leigh's birthday started off with three hours of paintballing at some free field that he found out about a couple weeks ago. Then he got to watch the Ducks game on TV in our apartment--which totally made his day. I should have videoed him, because he was stressed, excited, and LOUD. I thought the neighbors were going to call for noise disturbance. The game was intense, and when I asked if he would be in a bad mood the rest of his birthday if they lost, his response was a "yes". So I am glad they won too. :)

On our way to go out to eat.

We ate at an italian restaurant called Ottavio's in downtown Provo, which is just 2 blocks from our apartment, so we got to just walk, which was nice.

Leigh opening up his presents.

YAY. I got him new running shoes cause he REALLY needed them. And a different volume of a book that he has and loves.

Alright, so this is his cake. My first attempt EVER at frosting a cake. It was not smooth at all...but still tasted good. And I tried to buy this tube of icing to just write "happy bithday" or something, but I neglected to buy a tip, sooo, it turned into a mess, which I turned into a creme and green tie-dye top of the cake... as I said, I have no experience with cakes. AND I bought candles--even made sure I bought the 24 pack so we would have 23 for the cake...then realized at dinner we didn't have a lighter or matches..so I put them on for effect. I guess I have a lot of catching up to do on cake making and birthday-party-ing.

Anyways, all in all, I think it was a good birthday for him... I hope so anyways. :)

First of all its really funny how crazy boys get when they watch football games. Jordan watched the broncos game today...with his jersey on.... and would yell whenever something good or bad happened. Also the place you guys went to eat is one that Jordan said is really good, and we still have not been there!

The Ducks MUST have won for Leigh then! Because they wouldn't want him to have a sour birthday!☺ Sounds like he and Greg have a lot in common. Lauren asked Greg why he kept saying "Yes Yes" and "No No" (really loudly) during the game!

Happy Birthday Leigh! Aly you did a great job! Looks like he loved it!☺
