Where have we been??? I have totally been slacking on blogging, pictures, videos. We have been sick pretty much all of January and February. But, I will catch you all up with pictures...
The girls had beautiful Christmas dresses--thank you Nana and Grandpa!
Christmas morning! Kendal and that darn binkie--which we FINALLY got rid of completely after the new year.
Opening stockings...
The girls got a few little things, but their main present was their play kitchen that Leigh and I made for them! I will do a blog on it when we finish it (still need to add an oven door!). They love it and are constantly playing with it.
The best part was the wrapping paper of course...
For Christmas we went to Iowa. I wish I had taken more pictures, but we got a few while there. We got to see tons of family, experience a huge snow storm, have the power go out for 6 hours, explore Gammy and Papa's new house, shop, go out to eat, play with Roxy the doggy, try out sledding, and find the PERFECT place for us in Omaha (more on that in another post)!
Trying out daddy's shoes...too big!
This is actually at our apartment, but Lyla seems to think this fabric basket is a hat...
Refused to sit on Santa's lap!
Sledding!
Decorating sugar cookies with cousin Sydney!
We spent 3 weeks in Iowa and when we got home we have had many sicknesses! Both girls recently got croup for the first (hopefully, last!) time. We have been staying inside a lot and having lots of snuggles.
Aprons with their names on them--thanks Aunt Emily and Tio Ian!
Massive icicle that was hanging in front of our door.
The girls discovered they can climb and see out the window...they love to yell at people and cars while smacking the window over and over.
We had a family date at the BYU Museum of Art--they had a monster/villians/mythical creatures exhibit.
Our favorite part of the museum was Andy Warhol's "Silver Clouds". The girls LOVED playing in there.
We've been able to enjoy some sunshine inbetween snowstorms and sickness.
I just love this picture: Kendal was above Lyla on the playground and they were just looking at each other and giggling!
