Easter

I have been thinking a lot this week about what Easter truly means. Christmas and Easter have been construed by today's society as commercial holidays--something with no significance to Christ, His mortal life, the Atonement, and what it means for our salvation. This video of Elder Holland's talk from Conference is emotional and filled with the true meaning of this time of year. I am so grateful for my testimony of the gospel. I know that Christ lives. I know that He fulfilled Heavenly Father's will so that WE may all live with Heavenly Father and Christ again. I know that he felt all of our sufferings--He did it alone so that when we feel like we are alone, we are not, because He has been through it before. I know that Christ knows who we are and he wants to comfort us. I know that Christ was resurrected and that we may all be with our families again in eternal glory after our mortal lives. I know that this time of year is a time for hope. Hope that we CAN be with our families forever. Hope that we can be forgiven for our sins and become perfect like Christ. I know that Christ is our Redeemer and our friend.

Happy Easter!! Love you all!
